The 2 Pole Butterworth Filter A. The 2 Pole Butterworth Filter A was created by John Ehlers (“Cybernetic Analysis For Stocks And Futures”. pg. 192). Another method of calculation is given in the book “Cycle Analytics for Traders Advanced Technical Trading Concepts”, pg.32 . Both are used in this indicator. The screenshot shows the simultaneous operation of two indicators: Ehlers2PoleButterworthFilter 2 and Ehlers2PoleButterworthFilter. The indicator uses current price, previous prices and feedback in its calculation.
